Privacy policy

A template privacy page the merchant can customize before launch.

This page gives a small brand a usable privacy baseline covering inquiries, orders, analytics, and support messages. It should be reviewed and updated for the merchant’s exact tools before going live.

Contact data

Collected during WhatsApp or email support

Order data

Used to fulfil and service purchases

Analytics

Can be connected later if tracking is enabled

Template note

Before a client uses this page

Privacy pages are high-friction legal content, so the template should make customization obvious rather than burying it in code.

Replace placeholders

Confirm the merchant’s real support email, payment processor, courier, and any analytics tools in use.

Match the business workflow

If the seller stores orders in Google Sheets, a CRM, or an OMS, that should be documented here.

Keep it jurisdiction-aware

This template copy is a baseline, not legal advice. Merchants should adjust it for local compliance.

Privacy policy

Information the store may collect

The storefront may collect the customer’s name, phone number, shipping address, email address, size preferences, and order notes when the buyer contacts the merchant or places an order.

If analytics or advertising tools are installed later, device and browsing information may also be collected according to those providers’ policies.

Privacy policy

How the information is used

Customer information is primarily used to answer inquiries, confirm availability, process orders, coordinate delivery, and provide after-sales support.

The same information may also be used for fraud prevention, service improvement, and record keeping where commercially necessary.

Do not use customer data for unrelated marketing without consent.
Merchants should disclose any third-party payment or logistics tools they actually use.

Privacy policy

Sharing and storage

Customer data may be shared only with service providers required to complete the order, such as delivery partners, payment processors, or support tools.

The merchant should store only the data needed to fulfil and support the order and remove outdated records where practical.

Privacy policy

Customer rights and questions

Customers should be able to request updates or corrections to their contact and order information by using the store’s support channel.

If the merchant serves buyers in jurisdictions with stricter privacy requirements, this template page should be extended accordingly before launch.
